Description

There is a new generation of homesteaders being born, each of them hoping to grow clean and healthy food and provide for their families year round. Living in a seasonal climate requires preserving much of what you grow (or source from local farmers) so that you can enjoy in even in the depths of winter. With much of the knowledge of our ancestors forgotten thanks to the modern conveniences of the world, we must rediscover how they would have stored and preserved their harvests.

Join Correne in this 1.5 hour online workshop where she goes over all of the basics of home canning. In this class we will cover:

  • what canning is and why it is necessary for preservation
  • canning equipment – what is necessary and what isn’t
  • differences between water bath and pressure canning
  • common myths and misconceptions about canning
  • canning safety and proper storage

Each participant will receive a PDF home canning guide as well as lifetime access to the video workshop.

So happy that I took Correne’s “Canning 101 Webinar”. It really gave me the confidence to do canning and food preserving. Correne is an excellent teacher and I follow her on YouTube as well. She is a wealth of information and so encouraging. My pantry is slowly filling with homemade prepared goodness.
